Ruddington Makers’ Night 2022
This year’s Makers’ Night is taking place on Friday 24th June from 4pm until 9pm and expands on last September’s event by adding even more village locations to the line-up.
It’s organised by the Ruddington Village Market team from Ruddington Village Community Partnership (RVCP) with help from the The Framework Knitters’ Museum and the Debbie Bryan Gallery. Makers’ Night 2022 will be showcasing over 70 high quality regional crafters and makers across multiple indoor locations around our village centre, bringing everything from fine art to exquisite jewellery.
The main venues this time – shown with the help of Katie Derry’s lovely illustrations above – are St Peter’s Church, The Framework Knitters’ Museum, The Cottage Hotel, St Peter’s Rooms, Ruddington Methodist Church and the Ruddington Conservative Club.
You can click on these six venues below to expand the images of the stalls to be found inside each one.
However, RVCP says there are some last minute changes to the above: “Sadly, Nelly Smith’s Artwork, Sophie’s Crochet, Oooh Got It, Resin By Katey, scenturion_oudora, Clara Designs and Cam’s Wooden Crafts can’t be with us as planned. But, in their place, we welcome the fabulous Jackie Swann Design at St Peter’s Church, Jen Williams Jewellery at the Framework Knitters Museum, Reclaimed Gems at The Cottage Hotel, and JoJo Hats at St Peter’s Rooms.”
RVCP adds: “As well as our six fab indoor venues, there’s loads more happening around the village this Makers’ Night…
On your stroll between The Cottage Hotel and St Peter’s Church, pop in to the Debbie Bryan shop, where they’ll be hosting their popular Crafternoon event – hand-paint your own glass coaster, perfect as your new favourite home interior accessory… tap through to Debbie’s page to book your slot!
Take a pit stop at Jaspers Cafe, where they’ll be staying open to serve up Makers Night food, plus Amore Cakes will be inside the cafe, showcasing their baking prowess ready for your next celebration event.
Hair cut sir? While your partner is off exploring the makers stalls all around the village, this is the perfect opportunity for the chaps to sneak into Christopher’s Barbershop for a quick trim – staying open late for a Makers Night special.
Around the corner, the doors of Ruby Rae will be open, bringing you the latest ladies fashions for the season. Let Paula be your style counsel…
Next door, the lovely ladies from The Honeycomb Christian Charity Shop stay open until 8pm. If the Makers’ stalls have given you that creative itch, the ‘Combers will have a selection of crafting items to browse.
That’s enough to work up a thirst… and that’s where Rudd legends The Bottle Top step in, with craft ales by bottle, can, and on draft. Pull up a chair!” You can buy a delicious Split Screen Coffee & cake there, too!
